Second, it does not pay attention to the use of modern information technology, and adopts the traditional manual accounting method, resulting in unclear accounts. Third, the requirements for hiring warehouse personnel are low. Some SMEs only need to keep accounts, and those who can read literacy can. Some warehouse managers only have primary school education and lack of warehousing expertise. If a company lacks a sense of modern warehouse management and simply treats the warehouse as a temporary storage material or a place for goods, and cannot integrate the warehouse into production and distribution operations, it is impossible to plan efficient and high-quality warehousing.

2. Storage operations management rough

(1) Lack of reasonable and scientific operating procedures. 

The warehousing operations mainly include the three aspects of warehousing operations, warehouse operations, and warehousing operations. Strictly stipulate the operation procedures of each link, which can avoid the randomness of the operation and ensure the quality of each operation. For storage, it should include warehousing notice, document review, cargo inspection and acceptance, goods receipt (handover), tally on board, warehousing information processing, and stipulate the responsible person of each process. However, some small enterprises lack these process rules, and even if there is a situation in which the warehouse manager is commanded by the buyer every time, whether it needs to be inspected and whether it needs to be counted, the buyer has the final say, and sometimes even the procurement department only The order form requires the warehouse manager to do the warehousing information first, but it is not known whether the goods are in the warehouse. There are also unclear processes in the outbound operations. Some enterprises, as long as they are production departments, can pick them up at the warehouse, and they can pick up the materials without any documents. Lack of objective and clear operational procedures will inevitably lead to chaotic warehouse management and unclear accounts.


(2) Storage management is not clear. 

Some small and medium-sized enterprises in the warehouse storage management is not clear enough, the way the goods are stored in the storage location is unclear, and often the goods in the warehouse are unclear, knowing that the goods are always not found, resulting in this part of the goods being artificial Backlogs increase inventory costs. The goods in the cargo space are messy and unclear, which is not conducive to inventory and cleaning work. Improper storage management, random placement of goods, skewed goods, reflecting the low management level of the warehouse, affecting the management of goods in the warehouse, but also adversely affect the outbound operations.

3. Lack of reasonable inventory control

(1) The inventory quantity is not made accurately. Some small businesses lack understanding of the inventory strategy and still use the scale of purchase methods, resulting in relatively high inventory costs. Some SMEs do not collect comprehensive and accurate market information. The quantity of orders differs greatly from the actual demand, sometimes causing out-of-stocks and sometimes causing backlogs.


(2) Poor inventory management. Due to the inaccurate inventory estimates, some products have too much inventory, and the lack of timely processing has resulted in the loss of expired products and defective products, which has increased the inventory cost. On the other hand, some enterprises are inconsistent with the customer's needs due to production mistakes, resulting in some finished products without quality problems being forced to accumulate in the warehouse, resulting in a large inventory. These finished products have not been processed in time, resulting in material waste and occupying storage resources. However, these problems have not received enough attention in some enterprises. Some of the products producing hardware products are partially accumulated in the metal parts of the library products. Even rust is generated, and after that, it is discarded. The possible loss due to improper inventory control is a factor in increasing operating costs.
